Create New Ticket
This form serves for reporting bugs, requesting new features and/or the software support. Please follow these steps when filling the form:
- Enter your email address into the Your email and user name field. Alternatively, you can set up your personal information in the settings in order to make it remembered so that you do not need to input it again when creating another ticket. It is not mandatory that you provide your email address. However, if you do so you will be notified when an action is taken upon your ticket.
- Give a short description of your problem/request in the Short summary field.

In the Type field select whether your ticket is a:
- support request - a question which is not covered in the documentation
- bug report - you encountered an error in the application
- feature request - you would like a new feature to be added to the application
- Provide a detailed description of the problem/request in the Full description field. Especially in case of bug report please give as much information as possible.
- In case of bug report or support request please select the software Version the issue relates to. This can be either stable (www.sketchengine.co.uk) or beta (beta.sketchengine.co.uk).
- Optionally, you can select the Component which the ticket relates to. You do not need to worry about any of the next Ticket Properties.
- If you have any relevant attachments you will be able to upload them right after submitting the ticket. Attach File button will appear under the ticket details.
Before you create a ticket please make sure that your problem is not covered in the documentation. Also, we invite you to check the existing tickets first. If you find one which is similar to your issue we recommend that you add a comment to the existing ticket rather then create a new one.
If you make a mistake in the ticket (e.g. set the ticket type incorrectly) you will not be able to fix it, but please do not create another ticket with the same content. You do not need to worry about ticket properties set incorrectly if the correct values are clear from the ticket description. If you think that there is a serious problem just add a comment to the ticket.
