daTenTen: Corpus of the Danish Web

The Danish Web Corpus (daTenTen) is a language corpus made up of texts collected from the Internet. The corpus belongs to the TenTen corpus family which is a set of the web corpora built using the same method with a target size 10+ billion words. Sketch Engine currently provides access to TenTen corpora in more than 30 languages.

Data was crawled by the SpiderLing web spider in January 2014 and comprised of more than 2 billion words that are processed by ePos tagger and CST’s lemmatizer.

Part-of-speech tagset

The daTenTen corpus is tagged with the Danish ePos tagset. The former version of this corpus was tagged by CST’s TaggerXML using the following tagset.

Tools to work with the Danish Web corpus
